To the more sensitive ones, there's an option to lock the FPS at 30. No dips there. No fluctuation. Game just as smooth as Wind Waker HD! With better shadows to boot! xD

You can have the shadows, WWHD is the better game though!

Wind Waker is an awesome game. One of my favourite Zelda game of all time. But TLOU is in an other league.

Nintendo should start hiring writers who can actually tell a compelling emotional story for a change. Gameplay is always fun in Zelda games, and I can't wait to play Zelda U. But TLOU is a complete package in comparison to Wind Waker, as far as I'm concerned.

All the salt in this thread is making me thirsty. Im stoked it only dips a few times. After seeing the video from igns review im totally stoked about the fps

To me, the game hardly looks improved from the ps3 version visually

Yep, it looks exactly the same ...

What am I looking at here?

I will assume that's supposed to be a massively improved screenshot of the ps4 version.

and I said "hardly"

not "not at all"

Like I said in the other thread. The marginal effect resolution had on this game should have been removed to maintain a consistent 60fps and better graphical effects.

the side by side difference is huge in favor of 1080p, the clarity is fantastic and takes away so much blurriness the 720p version had

If you are complaining about the very few minor frame rate drops in this game you are nit picking and shouldn't be taken seriously. Seriously, great job ND. Can't wait to replay this game on my PS4.

After reading some of the posts on here I was expecting to see a whole lot more dips than that...

stays very stable and looks great.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

They should have lowered the resolution to achieve the constant 60fps.

A meaningless complaint by someone who not only knows how resolution and frame rate are tied together but basic business skills

shouldve lowered it to 120 p to get 8000 fps

A truly  meaningless answer. Thank you.

Not bad. It looks like it will get pretty consistent FPS.
