To me, the game hardly looks improved from the ps3 version visually

Yep, it looks exactly the same ...

Is that the PS4 version or the PS3 version?

Its an established fact, common knowledge, at least on this forum. Sure its not locked, but there is no better option no other console could handle it, and even if it could, its exclusive.

I'm just pointing out there is disappointment about the frame rate dips. There would be more praise if it was actually locked at 60 fps.

When ND was boasting about going beyond 60 fps people called them "Naughtygods". Unfortunately. they didn't mention the dips.

LMAO! I'm just saying. For all I can tell it could be a bullshot from the ps3 game.

Jesus, how are we supposed to differentiate between those with genuine questions and those without, when this particlar question has now become a meme for everyone who dislikes the PS4?  I'll take you at your word though. Nope, this is definitely the PS4 version.

'Tis an impossible task.

I was trolling, though, haha. I can tell the difference. I just don't think there's a a very big one.

Why point it out unless to call attention to it? Dissapointment is a constant fact of life, its not like people are canceling preorders because of a couple of dips.

You felt the need to point out people not buying it are complaining.

So I simply responded by saying avid fans are likely disappointed but staying silent for obvious reasons.

Problem with this game for me, is that the shadows still look pretty meh... unless ofcourse you cap the framerate at 30FPS, then they look so much better, but you also lose out on the extra framerate... it's one of those things that bugs me, lol... so if I DO end up buying it, I'm not sure if I'd want it to look prettier but still run at 30FPS like the PS3 version, or have it run at 60FPS with lower quality shadows... I know it sounds silly but I love seeing nice shadows that really compliment the lighting, lol.

I am 95% sure I will play at 60fps, but if you are not sure, just enable it (after the intro section, when you really started the game) and play with both, especially in the areas where you use guns... you will see that 60fps makes aiming a million times easier at an higher frame rate and when you turn the camera it looks much better in movement.

Now, I tried 30fps locks on the two other PS4 games that offered it so far (Killzone:SF and Infamous:SS) every time I disabled it right away, even if their frame rates were more often in the mid 40s than anything else, it was still better than "pure" 30... however some people really seem to prefer 30, at least when they write comments on internet, but I never met such a person in real life, as 30fps was always understood as an acceptable compromise, never a gold standard.
