I don't even know whether the game was playable at E3. If it wasn't, but you watched the Treehouse in person (not online like the rest of us), maybe you can answer my questions. I've almost every video of the game that has been released, and the more awesome the fan service and moveset gets, the more I can't help but notice that the difficulty seems to be too easy. Being a dynasty warriors game, there would be different difficulty settings, but I'm still worried about the combat difficulty. The guy playing the treehouse demo I watched was playing a hard level far into the campaign, yet he hardly ever took a hit. He only failed a mission because he let the enemy take one too many territories. From what you played or saw on the show floor, should I be worried about the difficulty?

Nintendo Treehouse should do a Q&A sesh for stuff like this.

On topic; no idea, they were probably playing with some cheats or something active. Plus there will no doubt be different difficulty levels.

Basically this. If you want difficulty just turn it up, it definitely gets hard. The demoes that have been shown are all on the easier difficulties.

I think some of the VGC/Gamewise writers went.


My younger brother's friend who schools in Japan went for E3. We're Nigerian and he's not a pressman. I'm pretty sure VGC staff will be able to attend.

I was going to say the same thing. I'm playing through Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper right now and the mooks have more aggressive movement patterns on the Normal difficulty. On Normal the mooks are still nuisances at best, though the generals/officers, archers, and cavalry units can be kind of a pain in the butt.

On Hard and Chaos though... it's a very, very different story.
