I overplayed the COD games so they got boring. Ghosts was actually the first one I didnt get for a long time.

Spurge i get why you buy so many bad and low rated games. It is because later when you play an okay game, you feel like it is the best thing and get that dopamine rush.

I will explain the problem to you, I really liked the game, and for me both the campaign and the extintion mode are better in this game than the previous one (BO2) but people buy this kind of games just to play online vs multiplayer and if that part is not good enough the full game will get trashed, there is a good portion of the players that don't even finish the campaign and that one is usually 5-7 hours long and don't even check the other online/local modes.

For many people CoD is a sports game but instead of kicking a ball they shoot other players, and when they change the rules of the game too much or they don't balance it properly for them the game is just bad, it does not matter any other aspect of the game.

I know I am in the minority here but I enjoyed this game more than the previous ones, but that is partially because I don't play competitive online, just finished the campaign which I think it was entertaining, and I play extinction online with my friends in which I suck but still have a lot of fun

No opinion, I got a bit tired of those games after MW2. (which was a good game btw.)

Even so, a lot of people bash Ghosts, so there have to be a few flaws.

Problem with Ghosts is that nothing is overpowered and the maps are lame.

CoD4 and MW2 were loved because there was so many badass OP guns and loadouts.

When will people realize that the bad reputation comes from the online features, not the campaign. Most people don't buy it for the campaign.

How short is the single player campaign again? If a game does not offer at least 30-100 hours of single player gameplay, it is not worth buying, no matter how good the multiplayer is.

SP was alright and pretty easy to Platinum. Extinction is an interesting diversion but not as amazing as Zombies from the BO games. MP in Ghosts is probably the least innovative amongst the COD games and the maps are probably the worst offense this time around. But the hit detection is spot on and frame rate is as good as ever. So the overall MP experience is not horrendous. I haven't had too many connection issues either probably due to dedicated servers running most of the time.
