I'm pretty sure people fap to MS bashing. Everyday!!!

Anyway if Titanfall is not a mind blowing seller what is it?
It's attach ratio to X1 is second to none. Imagine if X1 had sold 6+million when Titanfall was released.

Titanfall will is not made, published or owned by MS. The second game is most likely going to be multiplat.

Who said anything about second game or ownership of the IP?

This is what's being talked about:

Right now it certainly doesn't look like it, everything they've shown aside from Halo of course seems to all be rather small/medium sized.

I guess they hoped for Titanfall to do it and if that had done better (it's selling well but not mindblowingly well, especially considering the bundles) they might have picked that up from EA, but right now I don't see any new mega franchises on MS platter.

Wow a barrage of third party games. You could say the same thing for Sony, but at the same time Sony has made high profile AAA's than MS was even capable of purchasing from outside companies.

I'm speechless sometimes when I read your arguments. Even when you edit them, they're still extra-ordinary.

I ask this question because MS gave up on Black Tusks new game to go continue status quo with Gears of War. So....where is the new IP that will take over when Halo and Gears get old? Did I miss anything at E3? Sure, MS has a lot of fun games that pass the time like Dance Central Spotlight, Forza Horizon, Ori and the Blind Forest, Crackdown and more. Where is the heavy hitter that will show Microsofts internal investment in the future of the company? Please....don't say Scalebound. MS isnt even making that and I know that wont be huge. I love platinum but they make great filler games to pass the time.

Stop baiting. You are in the know just as much as us. If there was a mega IP, we'd all know.

It's Halo right now they are pushing. This year alone:

Halo Broken Circle novel, Halo Escalation graphic novel series, Halo MCC, Halo Nightfall, Halo 5 beta.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Titanfall, a next gen Xbox One console exclusive sold more than all the other Xbox One exclusives.  Halo and Gears.  Xbox 360s top selling exclusives.  Kind of points towards the fanbase being more interested in shooters than anything else.

And I did say "a large part of  the audience," afterall.  "A large part" certainly doesn't mean all.

It isn't exclusive.

Exclusively not on PS4.

Basically you need to picture the console war as Xbox vs PS. If nothing else matters, then technically it is.

I'm not baiting, I was just hoping they found someone to replace the new IP they dropped and Gears wont cut it. Gears was the only heavy hitter MS had that they acquired last gen from Epic. Halo was acquired the gen earlier. As I noticed earlier, I am putting a lot of hope in Remedy to be the one to make the next heavy hitter for MS.

If it's one we don't know about, what are we supposed to say here?

Exactly what I was going to say.

This thread is a facade for the usual bashing. It resumes to this:

State Of Decay

I thought about that but most may just see it as a Dead Rising clone.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Lemme use logic here.

Nope. We know what we don't know now.
