No the differences are massive and include on PS4 better resolution, higher quality textures, better effects such as motion blur, particles, and lense flares, better anti aliasing, more and denser foliage, better draw distance, superior lighting, better shadows, higher quality water texture, better reflections, and much much more.
The versions aren't close at all.

If can play it on my PS3 with free online, I really don't care. Yes it looks better on the PS4, but I will have to buy the console (U$ 400), the game (U$ 60) and pay for online (U$ 50) vs just buying the game (U$ 60) so the difference is not enough to spend U$ 450.

Yeah I honestly wonder how long it will take for people to realize that these little screenshots and youtube videos mean nothing for the sake of comparison. Only uncompressed downloaded 1080p video is good enough these days...
You speak of a clear upgrade over the PS3 version and the game that will show the difference. What kind of bollocks is that?! I'm extremely dissapointed seeing the small difference the PS4 version offers. With free online multiplayer, the PS3 version is probally the better buy

I think the game looks fine on PS3...
A few more jaggies than I would have expected, but it's hardly that bad...
It definitely gets very blurry at times though...
I was at a merchant menu buying something and the merchant model looked like a Monet painting...
Still having a good time playing though...

It was more of a critique towards the image quality. I am sure the games look very different when playing them. And yes, I viewed these images on my TV at home :).
