Forza had the most manfacturers in any racing game (over 80) I'm pretty sure that most of the brands that didn't make the cut for 5 will return in 6 along with the new manfactrers they added in 5 so 6 will again be the racing game with the most manufacturers.

Wrong again. 87 for Forza 4 and over 90 (I believe 95 or 96) for GT6. That number for GT6 will increase as more concept cars get released this year.

You're just dead wrong on your other post. And why didn't you just cut down the quote tree from our original conversation? Was there really a need to make two more posts?

The number for GT6 is misleading since they count turner such as Nissmo and Mugen as different car brands when in reality they are just tuned Nissans and Hondas.

A Lexus is just a tuned Toyota by your logic (you could also add Infiniti, SRT, and even Cadillac to that). And if that's the case, the numbers for both games go down.

No way do you ever compare Forza (which never touched GT in any category), Project Cars (Could care less), and Drive Club (A game with a fraction of GT). What you are essentially saying is give me less quality and I'll be happy. No thanks, I love every single GT game and I love GT 6. Although it shouldn't have ever released on PS3, Polyphony needed to bite the bullet once to feel the harshness of milking a franchise. Once GT 7 comes out, we'll see those who complained come back in droves. Gran Turismo is a proven simulator, everything else are ARCADE like racing games.

Nope Forza always has a better variety of cars GT has too many Skylines/GTR's and too many other duplicate cars.

That's not true actually. Even if you exclude the model year clones and the euro/japanese/american doppelgangers, GT's selection is still more varied than Forza's. Forza JUST got it's first open wheel cars in Forza 5.

Even with its limited roster Forza 5 still has a better variety of cars then most GT games I fully aware that 5 was the first Forza game with open wheel cars and they already have a better variety of those also since they have open wheel cars from the 30's, 50s, 60s, 70s and this decade I'm sure they will add open wheel cars from the 80's, 90s and the past decade in Forza 6.

No it doesn't. Match up the car lists (and take out the redundancies from GT) and you'll see what I mean. The concept cars alone put GT ahead.

Mey, Forza had its fair share of concept cars also Forza 3 and 4 actually has one of my favorite concept cars of all times the 2010 Bertone Mantinde.  Also since Forza 3 it has better car customizaton then GT you have custom paint jobs and decals, more upgradeable parts, more tuneable parts, conversion changes and engine swaps, plus more body kits.  Plus even with its limted roster Forza 5 has a better lineup of Maserati's on top of that they had something that GT never had Porsches.

1. A fair share of concept cars vs a deluge of concept cars.

2. Car customization and tuning isn't what we're talking about here (though the minute tuning in Forza has been guesswork up until Forza 5). Try to stay focused.

3. Yep, Forza 4 had a good selection of Maseratis. I'd say the difference in the number of Maseratis (8 to 1) is a lot like the number of concept cars in each series. Well, it used to be anyway.

4. Porsche not being in GT is not Polyphony's fault, so that kind of pointless to bring up. And the key word in your sentence is "had", because they're not in Forza 5 either.

Actually even Forza 5 with its limted roster has a fair amount of Maseratis it started with one its up to 4 and two of them are brand new to the game I'm pretty sure they will have close to 8 or even more in 6.  Also lets not forget Forza always has the best selcetion of Maserati's cousin Ferrari.  3 and 4 even had Ferrari's test track Mugello Circuit which will most likely return in 6.  Also there are cars in Forza that are so rare that they are virtually concept cars like the just added Veneno only 4 of them exist in the world.

Speaking of forgetting, let's not forget that GT has the best selection of race cars period, to where you can do full races with the same class of race car. And if you really want to get specific to each brand of car, GT has more brands as well. And if you want to point out Ferarri and Maserati, I can point out Pagani and Mercedes and Audi and TommyKaira and BMW etc etc etc.

And "virtually" a concept car is not a thing.

The Veneno is actually rarer then a lot of concept cars only four of them exist in the world and only three of those are in private hands.

SRT is just a tuning wing of Dodge.  Infiniti and Cadillac are seperate brands of Nissan and GM respectively that is why they have their own dealerships.

Driveclub will replace :)

Hardly the case, but nice try though.

No its the case, even Inside Sim Racing is getting tired of the ton of duplicate cars in GT games.

No it's not the case, Forza does not compare to GT in any conversation; duplicate cars or not. Nice try again though!

Says someone that probably never played a Forza game I played both and almost played all the games in both franchises expect for the first Forza game and GT6 and GT PSP and the prolouge games.  As far as car variety goes Forza has alway done a better job.

That still doesn't make it a concept car.

How so?  Forza 4 had 1 concept car, Forza 5 has zero, and GT6 has 32?? (Full Disclosure, unless they specifically use the term Concept, I wouldn't have counted, because I just searched Concept on each page heh).

http://www.gran-turismo.com/local/jp/data1/products/gt6/carlist_en.html - 32 Concept Cars

http://forzamotorsport4.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Cars - 1 Concept Car (Miura)

http://forzamotorsport.wikia.com/wiki/Forza_Motorsport_5/Car_List - 0 Concept cars

Both of the Forza's appear to have all the DLC cars included (and noted as DLC), so not sure where you're getting your information from.  It doesn't appear to be either from Forza's website, or Gran Turismo's.  Where are you getting the concept info for Forza 4?

Forza 4 has more then 1 concept car the 2011 Bertone Mantide is a concept car and the 2010 Devon GTX is a concept car I'm pretty sure there are couple more if have a closer look at the full roster of cars.

Yeah, that's why I said I searched exclusively for the term Concept.

Wrong again (how many is that now?). SRT is its own brand now. The SRT Viper is their in-house car and the Dodge and Chrysler vehicles will have tuned versions called SRT [insert model name] instead of using the old Dodge/Chrysler branding.

SRT still doesn't have its own dealerships.  Infiniti and Cadillac do.  As for the Viper its alway been somewhat of its own brand even though in Forza games some Vipers are with Dodge and some are in a seperate Viper category.
