Why not? The behavior was triggered by posts on this site, after all, and causes conflicts on this site. I say ban him!!!

I posted in the identical thread (my luck) but I could almost swear it's the same guy that was sending me all of these messages on my Xbox 360 last year and then on my Sony consoles. It's like it kills him to know you aren't crazy over Sony. He changed his profile a couple of times too but he kept the Nathan Drake Avatar.
It started when I said I liked Tomb Raider more than Uncharted. It was like I insulted his honor. anyway, he went insane when I told him I bought an Xbox One and began hurling personal insults and calling me stupid. I just blocked his ass. The only thing that makes me think it might not be him was that he always messaged from a Playstation Vita.

Actually, in extreme cases that isn't true. It has happened before at any rate.
Anyway I can't see a username so unless they're going to admit it (which is unlikely if they were cowardly enough to say these things on PSN) then there's nothing to be done either way. Still, a pretty poor showing and it makes me sad that there's people like that on this site.
Wow, what a dumb guy. I like how you dealt with him and didn't give his messages any importance.
Looks like the "stealth attack" backfired.
Now they get to read all the comments in this thread showing how pathetic they are :D

You *can*, but only if, as this thread shows, you can provide evidence that it is related to VGChartz affairs.
This is precedent we established when Turkish first emerged to prominence on this site, and a lot of non-Sony fans were calling for his head for what he was doing on metacritic at the time. His metacritic actions were untouchable, but the team agreed at the time that if his actions had been intended to goad users somehow, then they would be actionable.
This, this would be actionable.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
That username doesn't appear on the Vgchartz' PS trophy league thread, so let's make an assumption that is a new user (maybe).
I suppose it could just be a forum lurker, even, though they seem too compelled to engage in "discussion" on the topic at hand for that to be likely...
This whole affair would have taken too much effort on my part. The block button is so much easier. I block douchebags without hesitation. I'm a lazy guy, though.
