No. The Wiimote controls are shit on Mario Kart 8. The settings are different and can't be changed.

The Wii Remote + Nunchuck and Gamecube controller are my two favorite controllers of all time. I haven't spent much time with the Gamepad yet so I have no judgment either way on it.

If I had to pick the worst Nintendo controller, it would actually be the NES controller. Yes, it is the grandfather of all modern controllers, but there have been so many improvements since then. Also, the sharp corners hurt my hands after long play sessions.

Meanwhile, the N64 controller was designed for some alien race with at least three arms, possibly four, so title of worst ever goes to that.

The author of the OP has been ridiculous in this thread. Regardless, I'd vote for the NES controller, since the author is obviously judging these by modern standards. The N64 controller was kinda bad, GameCube controller was great, WiiMote was very solid.

I agree, I hated the wii-mote for games minus a few gems. It's awesome for Wii Sports and and Wii Party U, other than that I hated using it.

Wii mote is perfect for FPS.

Sorry, but that isn't the case for me. I have tried to use it several times for FPS- Black ops 2, Ghosts and even ZombiU multiplayer. I prefer regular controllers for FPS.
