Forums - Sony Discussion - Gran Turismo 7 in the works, standard cars from GT4 set to stay, not this year

I don't see what's wrong with this. It's just more content. It's sounds like people world rather have the 500+ premium cars and just leave out the 600+ legacy cars just because. It's literally just added content and doesn't harm the game at all.

So besides the standard car list, what's the normal amount of premium cars in a GT game compared to previous iterations and/or Forza series for example? Sounds to me like it's just more content without taking away the premium set??

There was over 400 premium cars in GT6, 200 total cars in Forza 5.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Just don't use standard cars = problem solved? no?

There are plenty of premium cars never to have to touch a standard car if you don't want to. Well you might get one for your birthday if you were born in the dark ages of cars like me.

What I am a bit annoyed by is this old promise

Finally June 18 1.09 a new track

Red Bull Ring

The full course and short track layouts of the Red Bull Ring has been added as new tracks to the game.

This is an ultra high speed circuit with long flat out sections, but there are tricky tight corners in between. How you handle these tight turns will greatly affect your final lap times. In 2014, Formula 1 racing returned to this track after an 11 year hiatus; the circuit truly brings together the best of the old and the new.

Oh well maybe best they put all their effort into making GT7 for PS4, Drive club videos have spoiled me.

yea.. i don't see what the issue with the standard cars. if you don't like em, don't get/pick/buy em. honestly, GT is like the encyclopedia of cars.. as well as damn good sim. all they need to retool is the sounds and add realistic car damages and this game outta be good. trusting it being on gen8, it's going to look good already anyways. and with the premium car amount, the number is only going to get bigger while the standard list decreases.

Man.. I hate it when your girl has to leave my place to come back to you..

Umm, I really like racing 'standard' cars, in fact my usual grumble is that they have too few from outside Japan. I would like to be able to race my car in the game, if it was in there. If I wanted to only drive supercars then I could pick up any generic racing game, its the huge selection of standard cars that makes GT different.

Until this thread, I never thought people had a problem with that, if you do then just don't drive them?

As long as they add new cars and keep making some standards into premium I see no problem.

Sounds good except for the standard cars part.
