At this point, I'd say MK8 and DS2 are the main contenders. There's more to come this year though. I don't think either will end up being game of the year though.

Either way.. there are lot more "casual" gamers than "hardcore".. and i bet that (35 mill last gen) a lot of them really like MK8 (or would/will)

Until now there's not many amazing games that came out, actually I think MK8 is probably the only one this year and its kinda sad too.
