I doubt he saw much of the money made from No More Heroes, which sold really well in the west (published by Ubisoft), but absolutely bombed in Japan.

Since he's head of a Japanese studio, he'll care about Japanese sales first.

Although, I really don't know what he's going for with Let it Die. It looks rubbish.

He killed the intriguing looking Lily Bergamo and changed it to the imo opinion ugly and boring looking Let it Die, so I wouldn't worry about him (ok, maybe I'm just bitter that I'll never get to see what Lily Bergamo could've been)

He'll be back..... they always come back.... I really hope NMH3 gets made some day.

So,Suda is the biggest hack in Japan. His games fall between average to bad and relies on his "style" to mask that. Let it die seems interesting, probably the most interesting thing he's done. He should focus less on dick jokes and actually try to make something that stand on its own 2 feet, style or not.

Let's be honest, there is no way Suda will survive on the PS4 and XB1. His games are niche at best they will get passed over easily. If he continues to pour money into full retail titles on those systems and not branch out into digital, F2P etc. than Grasshopper will end up like THQ.
