The thing with the traditional press conferences is ppl tend to give them more attention, its this big important event everyone is expecting. The Digital event a lot of ppl subconsiusly associate with something smaler and might not pay as much atention. Nintendos Digital Event this year was very well put together this year tough.

Not sure I understand the Treehouse thing. Is that like Playstation E3 LiveCast they've been running the last few years?

More or less, only it's being watched by 10 times as many people.

I guess that means I don't like this format. I rather have all of the games shot at me in a 2h timeframe instead of slogging through multiple streams over hours and days to get everything.

I guess I can understand that. But I like the fact they got all the announcements out there (except for this one 3DS game, seemingly) in a presentation that was both very watchable and respectful of the viewers' time. It's not like you're really missing anything if you don't keep watching their stream, and it gives them a good way to go over the heads of a media that is not infrequently hostile.

But Nintendo is uniquely good at this sort of thing. I can't really see Sony or MS pulling it off. The very prospect of Major Nelson being streamed at me for hours on end makes me want to put my head through my monitor.

Fair enough.

Overall I think all presentations were good in their own right. Nintendo brought the goods like everyone else.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I have no idea why they show 15 minutes of overhead shots of their booth while ambient music plays for every 5 minutes of talking or trailers.

They definitely did a fantastic job on their digital event, really enjoyed it. However, I still perfer the format that MS and Sony are taking.

Yeah I agree. It certainly didn't get boring like Sony's conference did. And its pointless watching trailers for third party games and hearing about Beta's and all that stuff no one cares about.
And the Treehouse thing is great as well.

btw you don't have to apologize for you English. Its fine and easy to understand.

Yep. Same here.

It gives the the publishers games much needed exposure and has those awkward E3 moments that makes E3, E3. Digital events seem to be working for Nintendo though because they have the charm to pull it off. I can't imagine how weird it would get if Sony and MS decided to do the same.

Much too short. But I guess that's because they didn't have a lot to show.

They´ve been streaming more than 6 hours of footage yesterday .

Infact, they are streaming their Treehous stuff right now: http://www.twitch.tv/Nintendo

and it is fantastic ! Shovel Knight right now
