I haven't even played PSASBR, but I know the roster. Whether they missed out on people is irrelevant, because we're talking about inclusions. No one in PSAS is any more out of place than Wii Fit Trainer, Animal Crossing person, Olimar, Miis, and Pacman.

Outside of Pacman, those are all first-party characters, three of them from massive franchises. Pacman's a bone to the co-developer. Why should they not be included in a game that's equal parts Nintendo fan service?

Because none of the characters are fighters and their games (Olimar excluded) feature zero combat or action. I don't really care that they're in there, because with the 4th entry, they need to stretch to find new characters. I just don't think you can criticize for what other games include because Smash is going on limbs to include new characters.

Its been like that since the beginning. To be in Smash you dont need to have had fighting from previous games. Look at Captain Falcon, he's a racer, never been outside of a vehicle intill SSB (first one), same can be said with almost half if not more than half the roster.

SSB=/= Fighters from other Nintendo games.  SSB=Nintendo's Allstars. They dont need to be a fighter, also if you seen how well they perform (characters that you claim that dont belong in game), you would see that they all are based from there own games with moves and movements in some shape of form.

1. Wii Fit Trainer= Uses literally all fitness moves.

2. Captain Falcon= Very speedy with fire elements (hence a racer)

3. Star Fox= Uses future technology such as transporters and reflectors.

Even Pacman+Mii's fit in the game so well cuz of Sakurai. Many characters before even announced sound like a WTF, but then Sakurai fits them in all perfectly.

Only 1 character to this day is out of placed but hes not because of who he is, but his moveset is just not really himself and thats ganondorf
