I guess they can speed things up due to it being pre-recorded, but come on..
Though after thinking about it, we do have this whole Treehouse thing which might compensate for it.

EDIT: They didn't change it, the time showed up on the stream I think. It does seem to be rounding.

The Smash Direct was indeed 39 minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir98bJkma_4

I doubt Twitch would give an hour to Nintendo with only 30 minutes being used up lol.

Even 40 minutes seems too short for two consoles

Last year's Direct was about 35 minutes long, so half the length of Nintendo's press conferences in the years before. A lot of the fluff is omitted completely (because press and analysts are addressed through other means), so we basically only get the games shown.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

doesn't leave much room for Zelda U...

they know that they have to show games so we will probably get (if 30 minutes is not just a placeholder but the actual length) less speech and more trailers. The treehouse event is where they will discuss their games.

Playing: F1 2016 (PC), Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4)
Watching: Hajime no Ippo, Attack on Titan (4th time)

As long as they show zelda wii u - i'll be happy

Should be enough to crush the competition.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...
