And yet Namco refuses to release this series on Nintendo systems, despite how much more successful it sells here in the West. 

Umm, Nintendo systems got five tales games last generation, including a Symphonia.  That one didn't sell particularly well in the west, and in general they sold better on Playstation platforms.  Better question is why the PS3 got snubbed for so long when the ports of Vesperia and Graces managed to outsell the originals in Japan.

Err... Remember... We're talking about the West here.

Only 4 Tales games were released in the West on Nintendo systems ever. Tales of Phantasia for the Super Nintendo (can't find any reliable numbers for this title), Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube (which still sold better on the Gamecube as opposed to the HD remake on the PS3. The PS2 version never made it out of Japan), Tales of The Abyss (which outsold the PS2 port, but mainly because this version was released outside of Japan as opposed to the original game) and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (which sold 200k in the US, but the PS3 version was never released outside of Japan).

Tales of Xillia still didn't outsell Tales of Symphonia, which was on the "flop" known as the Gamecube. There's overwhelming evidence that the Tales games do better on Nintendo systems in the West.

They have nothing to lose by releasing it.
I reckon they'll stop putting COD on WiiU when last gen gets phased out. Although in the 0.000001% chance the series starts putting out decent numbers on WiiU then maybe they'll continue after last gen dies off.

I don't know. Whatever it is, Sony or MS are not paying Activision to keep the Wii U version a secret, that's a completely ridiculous conspiracy theory, they have nothing to gain from that.

Again, you have to provide an explanation of equal or better value, or don't shoot mine down. I agree that the Wii U version presents no threat to the sales of an PS/XB versions, but then why would Activision hurt a version of their own game by acting like it doesn't exist when it does? It makes more sense to think that, as part of that exclusive content deal they signed with Microsoft, for instance, that Nintendo versions of the game have to be announced later. Not a whole separate deal to bury the Nintendo versions, but part of another promotional deal.

I would definitely purchase for Wii U if it does come to the console. Will most likely skip it if it doesn't.

They should make it to Vita instead of Wii u



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Every single main console COD has been on a Nintendo console except for MW2.

Get over yourselves already...
