It's still on my shelf wasting away. Would have rather seen Type-0.

obviosly we would rather Type-0 but would you also rather Agito, the F2P sequel to type-O for mobile?

Kinda underperformed on Japanese smartphones. I don't know whether that made it more or less likely to come to the west, but still.

Where did you get this information?

SE don't seem to care what the fans want, It's like they have their "To do" list upside down and are doing everything the fans don't want them to do.

I'd have to do some real digging to find it.  It was based on number of times downloaded on iOS in Japan or something.  It was low (never broke the top 20 on the app store by either revenue or units).

For Dragon Quest, that's a pretty poor performance.

If I find the post, I'll get back to you on it.

It's alright, I believe you. That's pretty bad though I think this was the highest selling game on the PS2 in Japan. I doubt it will do that great in the west, but the price aren't that bad really. Final Fantasy games are still $18.99 NZ on the PSN comparing that to this :/

I noticed something, is the game played vertically? this is new.

don't believe him.. DQ8 in Japan is 28 dollars and did great.. first month it stayed nr 1 top download and grossed quite some money..
SE isn't going all mobile if it wasn't working for them.. You have to realize.. this version is entirely rebuild with the UNITY engine.. an engine that runs on Vita and pretty soon on the 3DS..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

also the ipad numbers... it had better legs there..

Another Unity 3d game that I bet it would sell a few 100k on Vita in Japan alone and wouldn't take more than a few weeks to port. Sigh.

I loved the PS2 version and still play it occasionally, but $20.00 for a mobile game, and one that's 2 generations old? No thanks.
