Suarez is a sneaky bastard, and I love it. Sneaky bastards go far in life!

Not to mention, PSG's last night tactics make it impossible to sympathize with their "loss".

Out of interest, what were PSGs tactics? didn't watch it.

Chelsea got criticised in their semi-final vs Barcelona years ago for 'parking the bus' however, how do you shut down a team known for scoring impressive goals by playing simple (yet good) passing football, you don't let them pass it into an area they can score from. Without that, Barcelona had no other way of getting that goal they needed.

They pressed so hard their last defender was even up with them (not on the half way line like he should be) and it meant Torres scored easily ending the game right there.

Chelsea defensive tactics worked. For some of us, It was fun seeing them blocking all paths and paralyzing a powerful team like Barca.

PSG defensive tactics sucked, it wasn't working for Emery. Barca scored 3 goals in the first 50 minutes of the match. It was obvious Emery needed to change his plans, yet his team played the same ineffective defensive football and conceded another 3 goals in the last 50 minutes.

There is a difference between parking the bus effectively & ineffectively. I can bitch about the way Chelsea played all day, my opinion wouldn't matter, especially that they won. PSG on the other hand, played horrible football, objectively speaking.

But they didn't... they have played way better several times. And now they went through because the referee also helped them. Well psg didn't deserve anything for their performance. It was a great match from an entertainment pov but that's it, neutrals probably enjoyed a lot, well except chelsea fans if you know what I mean

Referees can't do much when soccer is full of actors that try to fool them every game.
However, that football recital you saw, only Barca can provide it.

Barcelona played with only 3 defenders. I can't understand why Unai Emery chose to remain in defensive formation.
Even if it costs them 1, 2 or 3, even 4 goals, it would have been worth putting more effort into attacking like they did in Paris a few weeks ago, for just one single goal.
Granted, they did get that goal anyway eventually, and then the unthinkable happened, but I still think it was a really poorly executed plan. PSG went into the game with a scared mentality even though they were up by 4-0.

Another important note is that our midfield this year is the worst it's been in so many years. By playing so far back and defensively that weakness was pretty much gone. They exploited our shitty midfield so well in the first leg and they completely dismantled us. I really think Emery messed up big time with the tactics. It's true that we were playing 3 4 3 this time around instead of the 4 3 3 in the first leg (credit to Enrique, he finally did something tactically) but still, they gave us so much breathing room our attack was able to shine.

Chelsea was a very different situation. They were probably the best team in the world at parking the bus and our midfield at that time was the best in the world so them trying to contest the midfield would have been futile. They parked the bus and had the best goalkeeper in the world and he performed miracles (Cech). They also had probably the best solo striker in the world who is a god at receiving high balls (Drogba). They wouldn't have beaten Barca any other way. Even with all that being said, they needed a lot of luck to beat Barca that year.

No problem in parking the bus, but PSG didn't know how to do it. See Chelsea and Inter before

beat Newcastle again

now to see how many Arsenal can get

Did you guys see what Weiser did against Dortmund? Fucking disgusting, shit like this should see a player get suspended for like 4 games

He rolled over 3 times until angry Dortmund players stopped him. Again, fucking disgusting. He also did this back in August:

^embarassing

and Arsenal are still shit if anyone is wondering

congrats to Arsenal on a momentous victory

It was amazing seeing Arsenal almost being 0-0 at the break. The fact that it took them so long to score is more embarrassing than what happened against Bayern IMO. I'd rather lose 1-5 against Bayern while down 1 player due to a red card than take so long to score against Lincoln.

Arsey Whinger: "I think the team was unjustifiably criticised for our last game against Bayern Munich because we had an outstanding game,"

Lose 5-1. Manager says they had an "outstanding game". I don't even understand how somebody could say something that stupid.

just more proof that the guy is a specialist at failure.

only whinger would blame the ref for a 10-2 aggerate defeat.
