Which library of games is enticing you more; the PS4 or Xbox One?

Xbox One 266 40.30%

PS4 285 43.18%

I don't own a Wii U / See results 104 15.76%

Total:655

I only like the PS4 more than the Xbox One. I never have had a Xbox, so the Sony libary is always more interesting for me even if I really like Halo.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

Sunset Overdrive on Xbox One could be cool -- but could be drool. Not much else on Xone has stirred my interest. Not even Halo, Quantum Break, or Titanfall.

PS4 is more intriguing because I liked some of the sony exclusives of the PS2 era, specifically God of War. And I'll still get Fallout 4 over there (I think)...

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Neither at the moment. Though I'd argue that PS4 has the potential game library that would excite me more as I prefer their known first party over Xbox.

Well in all honesty I don't think anyone can say either of the two has a 'library' that's really appealing. A few good games, but no real heavy hitters, nor any significant quantities. Surely that's set to change within the next two years or so, so I think this thread ought to be revisited sometime by the end of 2015, in order to paint a clearer picture.

The Wii U the only new console I have so far but i never intended on staying that way (unless it had the 3rd party support of the NES/ SNES days which it won't sadly)

I want PS4 anyway but am holding off till the first price cut. Playstation franchises generally appeal to me more but somehow i think Xbox One has more to it right now. I can't wait to see what E3 brings for them. All i know is both are too expensive and I don't feel like playing £400 to £450 for a new console plus subscription for multiplayer. Just a rip off for what is there right now.

Wii U has a better library right now out of the 3 new consoles and is backed up by the Wii and Virtual Console. Got Rayman Legends on Wii U for £10 (£25 on the other two consoles for the same game) and £3 for No more Heroes on the Wii today. Just so much cheaper. Also as its like this on PS3 too, even more of a reason to delay the move to PS4 or X1

Xbox One, PS4 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch will sell better than Wii U Lifetime Sales by Jan 1st 2018

I had always planned on getting PS4 + Wii U as I always get Sony's consoles and since last gen I've been able to afford another console which'll always be Nintendo's with their unique library. Went with Wii U first since it already has a lot of games and was ridiculously cheap thanks to all these awesome deals! A Wii U Deluxe, NSMBU + NSLU, Wonderful 101, Mario Kart 8, and Pikmin 3, all for $320!
Will eventually get a PS4 after more games and a price drop!

To be honest, none of them are enticing because i have a high-end gaming PC as well as a Wii U so i don't really see any interesting games on Xbone or PS4 that i cannot get on either Wii U or PC.

Wait till E3, then ask after it which library entices you more.

This. I do think Xbox has better exclusives so far.

So far it's not exactly boding well for the 8th Gen. There isn't anything coming right now that would entice me to get either of the consoles. Since the launch though, game-wise I have been more impressed by what the XBox One offers. I even think games there look better while the numbers try to tell me otherwise. However, I know that in the long run, the PlayStation 4 is going to give me more exclusives that I will like. In the end, I will likely end up with the PS4, if I'll get another 8th Gen system.

Neither of them have grabbed my attention yet, im having too much fun with my Wii U library to really take notice. If i get overkill on my Wii U, i just grab my 3DS instead. Then there are even more great Wii U games coming this year, i doubt PS4 /XBOne will get a look in for a long time/ if at all.
