I'm a pretty huge Nintendo fan. Their output is the majority of my gaming time. I also really enjoy a sony machine on the side. I absolutely loved the PS3 (Best 7th gen console for me) and I jumped at a chance to buy a PS4 when it dropped. Microsoft has never really interested me. Halo was always kinda fun at parties, but other than that, they never did it for me. I have no interest in gears, did not want to pay for online, and don't play call of duty. 

This gen though, their output has been better than Sony's. There are many more games that I would really like to play on their console. Dead Rising 3, Forza, Titanfall, PVZ Garden Warfare, Peggle 2. They all really intrest me. These gameswouldn't have forced me to buy an Xbox One, but they did make me a tad jealous. 

Today I saw the trailer for Sunset Overdrive, and I tell you, this might be the game to push me over the edge. It's everything I want in a game. An original, off the wall story, awesome asthetic, fun looking gameplay. It looks like an orgasm on a blu ray disc. 

On Sony's side we have...Last of Us remake? :/

In short, Kudos to Microsoft. They really went crazy at the start of the generation with the DRM thing, but dammit, I really want to play the games that they are making. It is a gaint nutpunch to the effort that Sony has put out so far. And the PS4's future is still pretty bare from what I've seen. 

Before other people come and rant, I will say that they have got my attention but not enough to justify a purchase. Its good to see they are winning some people over but their price tag is still to high for me but you do make some good points though

They've done good so far, but E3 will decide who has the better output to start the gen.

If you only game you can list for the PS4 is the TLOU port then you can't have looked much into it ^^;

well, good for you, but i dont see why u need to downgrade the ps4 to prove a point.

While you have a point that ps4 doesn't have a diversified lineup at the moment, we've seen the past three generations where they had the most. If you expect that will change now, when their direction right out of the gate was to make a system for gamers, then I'm not going to try and change your mind.
