we also get some awesome moments like "Riiiiiiiddddggggeee raaaaaaccccceeerrr!!!" and "My Body is Ready!".
hell no. it's giving up. which is what nintendo has done to the video game market, give up.
tons of memorable stage moments plus the electricity and possibility of failures in a live event.

Don't care. They can go either way as long as content is good. I can see the appeal of live though, hardcore gamers would miss things like skittles, wii music and wonderbook.
