Your friend is right. I have no idea why it is necessary. It wouldn't be a problem if Sony allowed external hard drive support, but luckily it is quick.

It takes less than a minute to install a disc, you don't even notice it's installing. And unless you play 10-15 games simultaneously, it should not be a problem with space on the disc.

The reason is that the BluRay drive loads the data from the disc slower, and if the entire game was not on HDD, you would have massive loading times within the game.

Just bought MLB 15 The Show for anyone who is interested. It's pretty good, even on PS3, but an incremental step up from 15 (*edit* 14). Also, does no one really know anything about headsets?

I have the Gold Wireless headset. For the price it is I think it's great.

Does it have a history of going on sale? I'd like to get one for a cheaper price than that but I've heard great things about that headset

I got it in the summer for $70 and I know during the holidays it was on sale for $60.
