Advertisement campaigns (good ones) only start one week before release. Its a waste of money otherwise.

Of course, it depends on the objectives of the campaign. But, if you want to be top-of-mind or at least just reach a high number of target consumers. Theres no point in starting a campaign so soon because people will forget or go to the shops wanting to buy the game and realise it isnt out yet. That would be a major waste of money.

I doubt I'll get to see any. Nintendo hasn't had any commercials here since Mystery dungeon. There was that Dinsey Infinity thing last year, but I don't think Nintendo was doing the commercial.

On sites and Youtube, all I see is MK8 footage, I feel like I have been playing it for months. I don´t think a single WiiU owner DO NOT know that the game exists by this point.
And, also, it will probably do much better than DKTF and Mario 3d World, I am thinking 500k at launch and 3 million on the long run.

No, but I expect to see some great commercials if Nintendo is this serious about MK8. If they did a commercial like the Mario Kart DS one... but with celebs... that'd be awesome.
