He's right, Paper Mario is a Final Fantasy game, not a Mario game

Kirby Mass Atk is a Pikmin game, not a Kirby game

Sonic Allstar Racing is a MK game, not a Sega/Sonic game..... Srry had to do it :P

Paper Mario is a Paper Mario game. At least until Super Paper Mario and Paper Mario: Sticker Star ಠ__ಠ

Wattttttt!!!!!???? Yea SPM was a bizarre turn and does not need to be called paper mario.

Sticker Star was a disapointment. We agreed on something

Why are they making SMT x Fire Emblem instead of Persona 4 x Fire Emblem then?

Every single piece of evidence you've suggested is inconclusive. Stuff like "who knows" "maybe" "alot can happen in a year" "Sega owning Atlus" none of that is conclusive. Nintendo could have bought Atlus, if they wanted Persona so much.

Until I see Persona 4 arena on a Nintendo Console, Persona Q is not enough.

Because maybe Persona has never been with history on nintendo platforms before?

Also why is P4 Arena viable but PQ isnt? Both dont play like Persona games lol

So street fighter=Persona now and EO=/=Persona? I think PQ is more viable than arena as they are different genres

Persona 4 Arena is out and features the shadow versions of the characters and their personas, Persona Q does not. Thats how Arena is closer.

Persona 5 G will never come exclusively to 3ds or the next Nintendo handheld. You wanna know why? It's Atlus' record. Just look at how they develop their games - they ALWAYS go by the route of the lowest development costs. They went PS2 -> PSP even though PS3 has been already out for years. When PSP started dying, they went PS2 -> PSV. Now what are they doing? Oh, the take a 3DS game (EO) and are just reskinning it and calling it a Persona for 3DS. They are reskinning a PSV game (Miku? The dancing game) and calling it a Persona for Vita. Now with the PS4 raging, they still go with PS3. What does this tell us? That they are gonna invest a pile of money into porting this game into a totally new platform with a totally new architecture? Or are they just gonna port it to Vita, with which they already have experience, which is similar in power to PS3 and considering it's said to be very easy to make PS3 into PSV port.

I believe the answer is simple. Atlus doesn't like to waste money on development, as that cuts directly into their profits and with their sales they don't have much room for error. Moreover Vita will be the shit in Japan come 2015, so I can't see any single valid reason why anyone would argue against it, except for just trying to annoy the fanbase.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Has Persona main series ever not been on PS?

No, but no evidence it wouldn't

Trying to annoy the fanbase? Atlus Record? C'mon your points are very good to say it'll stay vita exclusive(or sony in general) but its not set in stone. Many franchises were in the same situation and yet have been proving overtime that basic logic=/= future outcome.

Somebody would of told you FF would be multiplat with X360, you can use this argument... Proven false

MH was huge on sony, yet its exclusive to nintendo, including a new gen (MH4).

Persona 5 will be on ps3 and its easy to see why. To say its impossible for persona 5 to be ported/remade for ninty next gen HH is silly now. Trust me, Just look up MH threads/articles back in 2010-2012.

Beside, it could be multiplat if anything. Vita migt be big come next year, but who knows if it'll outsell 3ds. Beside 3ds has a 15.5mil user base vs Vita's 2.7mil, so it kinda doesn't matter if one sells better than the other come next year

UPDATE: Yeah before I made this thread at the end of April giving out a suggestion which many disapproved. But now hearing (no numbers yet) Persona Q a game which is a Spin off and a first time Persona title hitting Nintendo platform (3ds) having very high sell thru in sales, is there now a possibility it can be on the next Nintendo Handheld?

Fan Base might not matter in the regard of being on either side tbh. But what are your thoughts? If Persona Q does manage to sell around 200k lifetime i think thats a sign for Atlus to make Persona Multiplat! Thoughts!?

Persona Q is probably going to sell 200k by the end of the month. Lifetime, it should probably match Golden at least.  If Nintendo's next handheld  comes in 2016 by latest and doesn't flop, then I would say P5 Crimson would have a decent chance to the 3DS

I think a PS4 port/remake is more likely than a handheld one and considering the arena games were PS/Xbox I'd expect it to follow the same pattern if it stays on home consoles.

Hmmm... Both remakes in the past went to PSP+Vita. I can see a PS4 port but japanese loveHH. I see it being on Vita 1st, if not next nintendo HH. That of course is just all opinionated :)
