Always finish a game on normal. If it's worthy of a second playthrough, I do it on the hardest difficulty to get the trophy.

Normal cause I like to test the waters first and see how the developer wanted me to experience the game... If its too easy, I will change it to hard and if its too hard, I will deal with it! And if there isn't a way to change the difficulty after the initial choice, I will reflect on life decisions as to why I bought a game like this in this day and age

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Hard, if i've played a previous installment. Normal if I haven't played it before.

Me too, I usually start with Normal, which is usually the "best" experience for me. If the game is too difficult I change to easy or if the game is too easy I change to hard.

When I beat the game I usually change to a more difficult level also. If the game is worth playing again that is. :P

Sometimes if I am bored, I might choose Very easy difficulty, and just run through the game.

Wow there exist other difficulties apart from normal? who would have thought

Normal first, then hard, then whatever is after that if there is anything in the game.

Hard. Uncharted, Dead Space, TLoU, ME3 and so on were all perfect for me on this level. I wouldn't have found them as exciting on normal and I'm not even sure I would consider them an actual game on easy (interactive experience maybe?)

Generally the hardest mode available. Extends the life of the game, and I don't feel like a drone.
