It's as if you didn't even bother reading the OP.

You didnt, did you? Besides, I really couldnt care less about what you have to say to me.... at all. point is, since it apperantly needs to be spelled out loud and clear for you, nobody knows the full list of whats coming this year, so, its too early to say this years schedule isnt comparable to last years. Now, since it was spelled out for you very clearly, do you understand? I hope so, because what you think is of great importance to me!..  yes it is!

Well allow me to quote the OP for you:

A lot of people talk about Wii U needing a big E3, and it does, but I think and hope that we see a lot of 3DS content that has a release date in 2014, otherwise I don't think I will be playing much 3DS this year.

He isn't ignoring E3, he even says that Nintendo should announce some big things for 3DS. He's talking about the quality of the lineup as it stands for the rest of the year. Hope that helps.

Ok, one more time, because youre not comprehending a word i say. Why compare an unknown list, to one thats over with? Saying, 2014 is not as good, when, even though he mentioned e3, doesnt have the complete list of known titles to compare to yet. Bringing up e3, or reprinting the op multiple times doesnt change my argument, now does it? No. So, you want to do another quote? Just in case you do, we cant compare 2014 to 2013, until we know the full release schedule, after this e3, thats mentioned in the op, comes to pass. Because, even though you keep mentioning e3, youstill dont know the full list, do you?. And thats the point, again. WE DO NOT KNOW THE FULL RELEASE SCHEDULE YET. Thought all caps may clarify my point.

hope that helps.

Monster Hunter isn't coming till next year anyway.

Nintendo has two games scheduled for May and one with a vague summer release window. If you think they won't have anything more than that you're sorely mistaken. They just haven't announced anything more yet.

Im telling ya, we'll get LoZ MM 3D and hopefully a new metroid (2D).

Also 2015 already looking good. Watch, MH4U and we'll get either Pokemon Z(some third version) or Ruby/Sapphire Remakes and we'll get Monolith rpg (this game will be good, i trust monolith!!! in 2015 if its not released 2014

Oh my, i hope youre right! I would love a 2d metroid. That would go to the top of my most anticipated games list, easily.

Been saying this forever! And seeing how Smash is coming in the Summer, it doesn't have a big holiday game!

Correct, ex: 2012 had NSMB2 as the biggest released game (in terms of sales). it was announced on Apr 20th, released on Aug 19tn the US only 4 months later. Remember this was a HUGE GAME released only 4 months later. Also in japan it released on july 28th, which is barely 3months and a week later than announced!

No no no!! Look at my above post with NSMB2. Nintendo can easily release a huge holiday game without announcing it any time soon

Other than Bravely Default, this year has been incredibly weak. Super Smash Bros interests me but that's it. The 3DS is dominating the Vita in the west, but that doesn't mean they should start slacking.

Other than Nintendo's announcements, hopefully there are some third party titles because the Vita might actually beat the 3DS this year. Crazy, I know, but it just might happen.

I have 14 3DS right now and just as disappointed not receiving new games for this console as I am the Vita.  Not only did the DS have a bigger library of games worth playing the first few years of release, but the PSP did as well.   How much quality is debatable, but quality nonetheless.

The fact that no one here mentioned Azure Striker Gunvolt yet is disturbing...

Anyway, 3DS games keep being announced on a regular basis in Japan, and there's many of them still waiting to be localized, which combined with the certainty that more will come tells me there's nothing to worry about. Of course, this all depends on personal taste and needs, so the mileage will inevitably vary...

To give a few more examples here, there have been hints of Level-5 being willing to localize Yo-Kai Watch, there's the last Harvest Moon already released in Japan that will certainly come, Forbidden Magna which will likely come from one publisher or another (probably not this year though), the Harvest December VNs that are apparently coming, and One Piece Unlimited World Red confirmed (now multiplatform though). Also, I would say Theatrythm is only a question of when, and if i'm not mistaken there's still chance of Iron Fall coming this year. Maybe even Devil Survivor 2: Break Record if it shows up soon in Japan (Overclocked was released in NA around a week before Japan).

And who knows, maybe this is the year someone bothers to announce Dragon Quest, Kunio-kun, Digimon World Re: Digitalize Decode, Gaist Crusher, and Fantasy Life for the West... Hopefully...

So is this thread about our personal views on how much the 2014 lineup will appease us personally or how much it'll have an impact on the 3DS' sales? Because those two things are most likely completely opposite of each other.

Personal views, 2014 is not fully known yet. NSMB2 was announced in apr and released 3-4 months later. Thats one of the biggest 3ds games of all time.

2013 was just so big it overshadows every other year, its also one of the best handheld years of all time (arguebly the best)

here is a list http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=178980&page=1

So far in quality 2013>>>2011>2012 imo. 2014 wont be near 2013, but its not a dissapointment

The former, I assume. This would explain how Disney Magical World doesn't even get a mention...

A good point of course either way, as people generally tend to mix one with the other...
