Sounds like they are taking a page from the microsoft press releases that dx12 will make it perform twice as better.

Sony, Microsft and Nintendo if they think of doing the same... when you have to come out and say it, you dont sound believable. The products will do the talking, not you.

I find these press releases almost insulting. Here is what you should think! Honestly, it seems like its the only medium where customers are treated like retards.

Nope, not really comparable. TLOU remaster was just announced yesterday, its not anticipated and as such needs all the marketting and hype it can get. Sony isn't just going to leave it out to flop, they want to make sure people know about this game.

Plus seeing how its a game coming soon, with verifiyable results its not even close to the dx12 performing twice as better which doesn't have any support to it and no virutual basis, twice better performance on what? XB1? In which areas?

In contrast, TLOU RM says 1080p targetting 60, so it will be 1080p with probably an unlocked framerate b/w 50-60+.

Do you honestly believe a remaster will sell on word of mouth alone? The expectation was that this game would be on PS Now rather than ported so nobody was truly expecting the TLOU Emerald Edition.

What i mean is that they can share footage with that press release. What we could see from the reveal trailer only looked upscaled. The models looked exactly the same. They are saying they are remaking the models, but thats not what i saw on that footage. So, i want to see proof, i dont want just them telling me its gonna be good and then later maybe not beeing.

Its like the situation with Watch Dogs and that trailer that didnt look anything like what they initially showed at E3. I dont want lies or make believes, i want the truth. I'm tired of beeing lied to by these companies.

What about cutscenes? Real time? Or recorded?

Recorded. They load the game behind the cutscenes.

Then I will pass. ND and santa monica deceived me with "bumped" graphics for the cutscenes in ps3. I wont fall for it again.

What sort of perverted logic is this? It's a cut scene. Who gives a damn if it's in real time or not? All you need to be know is that the in game graphics (WHICH ARE REAL TIME) are going to be of the same quality as the cut scenes.

You guys still dont get it? Cutscenes were recorded in a powerful PC with better poly count and anti alising. They dont represent actual game graphics. Actual game graphics is worse than the cutscenes. I am glad infamous second son didnt cheated me in this regard.

Max Payne 3 cutscenes were real time, but loading times suffered a lot because of it. You would have to sink like ten minutes of a cutscene that you had already seen just for the game to finish loading the next gameplay section :/

Though if someone shot Max, the guy would appear injured in the cutscene, which was cool.

They need to take 11 off of that price.

PS3 version still retails for $60. Why should the PS4 version cost less?

The game still sells.

Now if the PS3 version was $20 bucks then you might have a case.

Nobody invited logic to this conversation. That being said, I think it's time to lower the PS3 price point.

Because you want it to be cheaper or because you think that would be a good business decision?

Smart business decision, of course. I was talking about the ps3 version of tlou just in case that wasn't clear. Although a ps3 price drop wouldn't hurt my feeling either. That one would be more for me than anything.

When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

Oh, we get it. I just don't think you're getting it that ND will use those high res assets in the game.

Why would that be a smart business decision when the game is still selling well? If they dropped the price by $20 then they'd have to sell 1.5 times as many copies every week just to make the same amount of money. Do you honestly think that a price drop would cause a bigger long term sales increase than that at this point?

I know. I played maxpayne 3 in ps3. But what ND and santa monica did was deceiving. Bumping graphics for the cutscenes are not acceptable. That is my main issue.
