That's what happens when you stay quiet about a game for 4 months. People make wrong assumptions.
Hope for the best on his son.

Good. He was using what little info he did have as a platform to make his other opinions more important.

Agreed. It was just all too much recently, especially with that borderline shady Kickstarter site he wanted to put up. @_@

Hopefully the site's dependance on "leaker" info can be shaken somewhat by this revelation (not to mention's CBOAT's earlier ban for false information). Just gotta take these things with salt instead of taking them as gospel.

He wasn´t that trustworthy afterall, so I would take the rest of his posts on the matter with a grain of salt.

Dude! Not cool!

Good on him for setting the record straight. famousmortimer has kind of a history of putting Sony in the best possible light, and that extends to ragging on people who have left Sony for whatever reason.

"Everything he has said with regard to myself and Driveclub is incorrect. It's also libellous.

As Putty (who is a personal friend of mine, and has been for about 25 years) suggests, I left Evo in February for personal reasons. The personal reasons being that my son, who is 4 years old, has been diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, which is a potentially life threatening condition. I live 220 miles (4 hours drive) away from Evolution Studios, and was away from home 5.5 days a week. Given the circumstances, I could not continue to work there."

Famousmortimer has been banned from NeoGaf.

That's what you're always supposed to do. Leakers will never be right 100% of the time.  He's had some good info before, this time he was clearly wrong.

OT: I feel terrible for that kid, I hope they'll be ok.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

BTW seems like they talked and sorted the differences...

Thats very true.

Looks like Pete did the right thing and apologized, but the timing is pretty funny. His credibility has just taken a huge blow right as he's in the process of crowdfunding to get his new website going.

Lifetime ban... I don't blame that because it is like GAF works
