Snake being in Brawl was reason enough for some Metal Gear fans to get a Wii. Don't see why Nintendo wouldn't want that for the Wii U. These are some Microsoft Level decisions right hur.

im getting a sneaking suspicion that the roster is not going to be up to snuff. The only character that seemed excited so far is little Mac but thats just me.

Smash Bros. is a Nintendo game. Fire Emblem and Mother are Nintendo published franchises. 100% of the games are on Nintendo consoles. They've earned their spots in Smash Bros. Snake as appeared in close to a dozen games and only 2 have been on Nintendo consoles. Nintendo is clearly the lowest priority for Kojima, so Snake should be the lowest priority for Smash Bros.
