Everybody agreed to give their console a crippling weakness.  Nintendo chose to be underpowered.  Microsoft chose DRM and a high price.  Sony chose to give people ass cancer when they touch the "share" button.  At the last second, Sony backed out and gave their console NO weakness.  By the time M$ and Nintendo found out, it was too late.

Of course, I can't prove this.  It was a secret meeting but believe me, it happened.

So I hope you're happy.  One year from now, this site will be a ghost town.  No competition amongst 8th gen consoles.  A lone tumbleweed will roll through the forums.  All of the good times we've had here are coming to an end.  Without a good console war to keep us interested, what's the point of the internet?

And you want to know what the sad part is?  The PS4 ain't even that great.


When Microsoft drops the price of the Xbox One things will get more competitive.

When Wii was number 1, everybody was considered a winner from a certain point of view--Wii in sales, PS3 in games and power, Xbox 360 in sales and multiplats.  When the PS4 is number one, only Sony will be number one.  Wii U and Xbox One fans won't have anything to fight back with.  The PS4 is a fighter with no one to fight.

oh god i hope not, even though i have never had an iphone and pretty much nothing but andriod since 2007 Google seem more interested in crippling the phones with constant apps runing in the back ground that even when you try to disable them they just run anyway not to meantion the thousands of different specs they have to deal with, i never thought id say this but ios is better optimised than andriod and as a result andriod wont/cant top ios.

but what will M$ do to the XB1 in order to drop the price!, also Sony will follow suit and lower the price of the PS4, this time round the consoles dont cost as much as they did to manufacture as they did in the 7th gen.
