If Sony did corner the market like ps4 fanboys would cream in their jeans for. If I were Sony I would raise prices on all games by 10.00 and then make ps plus a 100.00 year service. Where would you go if Nintendo and Microsoft left or just quit?

How dare you insult one of my favorite video game series, this means war! What do you mean by generic though? I've never seen a game that was like inFamous. 

Infamous type videogames were pretty dominant in the 7th generation of consoles. It was all the craze. The genre became tired and boring even before Infamous since most of the games were in that genre, its where the money was.  On the other hand, Titanfall is a pretty unique game. I mean, for god's sake, how many games do you know whith guns in it? Not more than a handful.

It hasnt even been 6 months yet. WTF? What little thought and foresight it takes to assume anything at this point.

Plus this place will not be dead, there will always be someone bitching about or trolling about something.

PC fans can jump in with how much PS4 (not counting other console(s) that are even waker) will hold back PC games...which is actually true, considering all chances are that full real-time GI will not be implemented due to lack of GFLOPS in these consoles.

So, there is always something...

And you want to know what the sad part is?  The PS4 ain't even that great.


Do you think discussing about Hadwares is the most important thing we have to consider? We have many new games coming up and theres plety to discuss about those games and future innovations in Gameplay and Visuals to improve gaming instead of bragging about the hardware is now cleared by PS4.

 



GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

i was just thinking about this same thing and considering making a thread about it. hadn't got around to it yet but i suppose this saves me the effort.


in short,.. for fans of video game console sales data we are in for a boring next couple of years.
