Wow, and here I thought, it was enough for games to be considered, I dunno games.



Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:


If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Games don't need to be a story telling medium. I don't like this trend of games that want to be movies, game reviewers who want to be movie critics, and game developers who want to be film directors.
The story of Kojima games is fun in a cheesy 80s action film way, almost camp, if he wants his game to be like an HBO tv show, then I don't think he has what it takes.

being controversial is not a requirement for being considered culture

Tell me what would motivate me to want to stay on a forum where for any topic that is discussed, I must be insulted on the basis of my beliefs?

I sent you a PM, but I needed to write this complaint here so people can learn that the behavior is not appreciated.

 

As a side note, I hope my posts in their entirety in this thread were clear enough that I have no doubt on the japanese muse, genetically. The term DNA was used as a metaphore, I hope you realize game makers don't have any particular DNA. Alas, it is an expression. I was speaking from a cultural point of view not from a genetic point of view.

It is paramount that users who presume to accuse others of being prejudicial take the time to weigh things properly before throwing out accusations. Especially when applying prejudice against beliefs while doing so.

 

Please, I hope this is a lesson learned for everyone in the thread.

And you take critics to your position As insults to you, but your comment about japanese people, game developers and kojima himself as cultural difference? The more I hear him talk, the less I want to play MGSV. So I guess I'll just ignore him from now on...
