maaaan the soundtrack of this game is blewing me away...never was fan of the original dkc as a kid so never really payed much attention to the music but this music is godly much better than the music in mario 3d world

downloaded this last night. I'll offer an opinion when I've had a chance to play it.

3D World was so much fun, but the learning curve was far too shallow and the first 5/6 worlds were just too damn easy. The later worlds and the end game were just fantastic though.

I'm near the end of World 2 in DKC:TF. So far it's a lot of fun.

As for the reviews. I don't get why some reviewers are giving this low scores, the only thing I would knock some points off for is the glitchy loading screen. I'm actually pretty surprised that made it into the game at all. Someone at Nintendo should have said FIX THIS before we release it! The game itself is glitch free and so far I've not felt that any of my deaths were cheap deaths. They all made sense.

It's not aglitch its actually like that cause they way it was written in the code.

Man this game's good. Almost done with World 8, although I think I missed a few secret levels so far, and I'm nowhere near getting all puzzle pieces/KONG letters etc.

I never played a DKC before this one, but it's definitely living up to its name - in fact it's better than I expected.
The music's just grand, and the animation's silky smooth, really, really well done. The controls are pretty great too, very natural and comfortable.

All in all, I might prefer this over 3D world.

I absolutely love the game even though I suck at it but for some reason I don't mind sucking in this game as It makes me want to try again rather than making me hate it like other games sometimes do. I'm in world 3 so far and I prefer this over Returns. I honestly can't say if it is better than 3D World since I haven't completed that game yet

I'm not far into it (just got it today), but it has managed to hook me in a way that SM3DW didn't manage to at the beginning...
I've honestly always preferred the DK 2D platformers...
Mario platformers are for everyone...
DK platformers are for platformer fans...

I love this damn game, I'd say its up there with SM3DW.

I can't put it down, easily my favourite game so far, platformers are my favourite though
