I never saw this coming, i knew Tropical Freeze would be a solid game but i wasn't prepared for it to be this good. Im actually deliberating whether this is better than SM3DW, it is at least on par. The music, level design, graphics and gameplay are of the highest quality, im extremely pleased with it. To you Wii U owners that have played/own both games, which do you prefer?...im still trying to make my mind up :)

I'll be getting it early next week, can't wait to experience it; it'll be my first DKC game, ever.

3D World was glorious - if it's better, or even on par, then wow.

But, but.....Gamespot's worst reviewer in existence  gave it a 6/10 so it must be  a really lackluster game!

I think it is as good as SM3D WORLD

I wouldn't be surprised. I'm enjoying SM3DW, but it's not even close to my experience with DKCR. It was just so creative and lovingly crafted, and best of all the controls were so tight. If TF is better at all, then I have no doubt it's better than Mario (which, while good, still feels to me like it was put together a little fast and has nowhere near the amount of charm and polish that DK had).

I played it at my friends house cause my local ebgames went "lolz, we dont have any in stock," on me and I must say, its kinda hard which is not a bad thing at all but man, it might be harder than any past DKC games

I think its defiantly harder than 3d World for sure, better? Idk...

The Wii U really is the GameCube. A console with multiple software gems only to be hampered by the console they are on. All of this gold that Nintendo is pooping out makes me really excited for MK8.

I prefer Destructoids 10/10 review ;) 

In all honesty, i think many were pissed because when announced it wasnt Metriod, even i was lukewarm to it. How wrong i was, the game is freakin awesome..people need to focus on what the game is instead of what it wasnt.

Much less inspired than Mario 3D World. On par with Mario Bros. U.

Sure, It's better. DKC is the best platform, period. I've been playing for at least 8hours I'd say it's good just like the previous game.
