It will certainly help but it can't save the X1 on its own. Each main Halo game after Halo 2 has sold more than 9 million copies so that shows it has a very loyal fanbase who could buy an X1 just to play Halo.

Depends what you mean by "saving". It is going to boost its sales for sure, halo is still the biggest exclusive between ps and xbox.

You forget Gran Turismo. Its definitely bigger than Halo even if Sony are trying to kill the series by putting the new game on PS3 -_-

Well if they continue where they left off with Halo 4's multiplayer, they certainly wont change a thing for the Xbox One. Never been so bored playing a Halo game before. Where's the 1-50 rank system? And the competitive play? What a disaster that game was.

Yeah I play GT but I swear Im the only guy I know that does and yet so many smaller franchises seem to have so many more of my mates playing them

What saving...??? Xbox one is still the most profitable console MS did... It doesn't need saving what so ever... It'll be just fine don't worry...

I think when Halo does come out most of the poeple who want to play it will have bought the console over the course of the year. Though I wouldn't put it past it to sell an additional 1 million at release with a bundle.

I can say I'm sick of these doom threads after only 2-3 months of sales. It's not as if they are going anywhere. Halo will sell like it normally does. Xbox One will get a price break to 399 at some point and we will see sales continue to rise from that point on. Most likely if sales do not improve, we will see that as soon as fall.
