JUST GOT THE PC CODE!

Will give it a go tonight when I get home!

My CPU and RAM are fine. My GPU exceeds the minimum requirements, but not by a whole lot, so I wont be playing at some huge framerate with massive detail!

Wow, Congratulations dude!

I didn't get in yet.  /awe

But something about a Spark I may have done.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Ah well, it doesn't look like I got beta code. No big deal!

Game is simply amazing. It actually lives up to the fucking hype.

The thing most impressive to me is how refined and smooth everything is. This is why I hope CoD returns to a more simplified design. Everything in the game seems like they worked on it until it was perfect and then they moved on to something else.

The movement as a pilot feels incredible. It really breaks the barriers of the typical corridor MP shooter like COD/Killzone/BF because you can virtually run and wall jump and double jump to anywhere you might wanna go. And it's all so smooth. I actually prefer to be a pilot so far in the beta as opposed to calling in Titan's, just because it's so much fun. Not to say Titans are bad, but being in one makes you a huge target and everyone guns for you. They move great too though. Dashing around is fun as hell, and Titan v Titan combat is extremely tactical.

The game's AI does just what Respawn described it would. Not only do they control the flow of combat, they eliminate things like campers. When opponents are AI farming your grunts it can lead to losses, so enemies tend to come out and try to stop you from doing it. This has actually happened to me twice in the beta so far, the match started with my opponents camping on rooftops trying to pick people off from afar but we got in 2 or 3 Titans before they got a single one because we kept killing the AI so they all had to jump down and fight. It doesn't feel cheap either, I was just in a match where the enemy team had over 240 points and were about to win and we stormed back to make it 249-249 and they won 250-249 off an AI kill. No fucks were given.

Shotgun is beastly. Just devastating at close range. That's another thing the game has over other shooters imho, the guns feel so meaty when you hit people. Being able to gib people doesn't hurt either.

We should get some VGC parties going for this game.

I just got my code, yippee!

I'll give some thoughts after I play some matches.

Even though I camp on COD, I don't on Halo and this sounds wonderful. You are the first person I've seen talk about the AI in this way too and it seems such a simple yet logical approach. So I suppose you won't be backing down from the GOTG tag you've given the game anytime soon....LMAO.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Been playing more and having great games stats wise. I think I have only lost 2 times now out of 15 or so matches. Unlocked all the weapons I think that are in the beta, and the rest of the Titan stuff. Though now that I think about it, the Titans have some electronic smoke mechanism they can deploy against someone rodeo-ing on their chassis, so I still have that.

I unlocked Burn Cards, and they are amazing. I like to think of them as a mix between perk/streak rewards, and the one use type boost items you can get in most MOBA games. You choose them before the game begins or when you die, and they only last one life. So far I have gotten cards that shorten your Titan build time by 40, 60, and 80 seconds. Pop one of those at the start of the match and your first Titan comes quickly. There are also loads of weapon enhancements. I just got one where I spawn with a sniper rifle that shoots explosive rounds. You can also equip one where your Titan comes with its ordinance package ready. So you can use it, call in a Titan before you die, and it can have the damage core bonus ready to equip right off the bat.

It's great that you only get to use 3 different ones per match and then they are gone from your deck of cards. Really adds a whole new layer of depth to the game and introduces a sort of collect-a-thon element to keep you playing. I would much rather someone be able to call in a Titan with its ordinance ready to go 1-3 times per match because of Burn Cards than do it 4-5 times in a match due to streak rewards. Idk who it was but some journalists were comparing them to death streaks, couldn't be any more wrong.

About to go get in a few more games before work. Anyone who wants to play add Cpt RonCodpiece

i really hope i get a code. really wanna try this. some questions, when does the Beta Close? and how many titans are in the beta from the 3 types?

I am only two matches in.

I need to leave the house right now, but this game is awesome fun.
