I guess that thanks to Nintendo finally marketing the Wii U, issuing a price drop and releasing Super Mario 3D World payed off in USA and these early results look really good. Wonder how will this pan out in coming months...

Its good to see the Wii U doing better. Those first 6 months were really bad for the system. Things are looking up though.

NPD is going to be really interesting to watch to see if the baseline has indeed doubled.

I think Wedbush predicted 60k or something, right? Which is about 15k/week; bit below what we're seeing here. But those 'prediction' services normally have all the accuracy of a blind archer.

Good for WiiU if it has increased a bit, though.

When is NPD out? How many hours ultil its out?

werent they wrng twice now with wiiu? (they under predicted it especially in Dec)

Not sure.  Assuming this NeoGAF thread is correct, Feb 13 @ 4pm E.S.T.  So, tomorrow.
