You mean millions of movies? And there are far less people that play games than watch movies. The gaming industry is extremely small, the movie industry is huge everywhere and for everyone. Everyone watch movies but few people play games.

I don't see your point at all.

And yet Netflix is most watched on PlayStation 3. That is logic for you.

Where are you getting your statistics?

I don't get that logic, sorry.

I have no statistics to go by, have not even looked for any, but are you saying that the gaming industry is larger than the movie industry? I doubt that. I mean, every one watches movies, right? But far from everyone plays games. Look at India and China with the two larges populations in the world, almost no one plays games but everyone watches movies. And yes we do pay for movies here, and the cinema is as popular here as in any other place and renevues money.

The bolded part there I say that far more people watch movies than people play games. And since you are arguing with me you mean that more people play games than watch movies? I don't really understand because all you said is that more people use Netflix on PS3 than anywhere else, when I said that more people watch movies than play games. To me your reply doesn't make sense.

If you have any statistics that proves me wrong, that more people play games than watch movies I am interested in seeing that. Because my word is not law and I can be wrong, I do admit that. But I have a difficult time grasping the idea of the gaming to be larger than movie industry. It seems surreal to me, and then I also wonder why gaming developers are whining about making so massive losses, and why the gaming industry is bleeding so much money year after year and companies are being shut down or sold. Nothing makes sense to me if that is the truth. :S

If this don't make sense to you then there is only one explaination. Consoles is still banned in China. Or should I say video games? Can you play GTA in China?

More to the point. Netflix is one of the most populer movie streaming service with millions of subscribers, and it is most watched on PS3. Now saying that the gaming industry is smaller when there are games like GTA4 and GTA5 that makes more money in a single day compared to any piece of entertainment--any movie, any record, anything at all makes no sense. Maybe it makes sense for you in China, but not everywhere else.

This is why I think streaming games like any other movie streaming service will grow. Hence my Netflix comparison.

I'm not attacking you or arguring. Its 2AM, and I'm up watching anime....

I hope they add Ni No Kuni to this as well. I never had a chance to play it.

Haha no worries, I enjoy discussing things. :P

Well it was banned, but not anymore. But you missed my point there. What I meant was that billions of people in China and India combined watch movies, pay for movies, go to the cinema etc. And in the west it's no different, more people watch movies. And combine all those people to the gaming industry, we all know that Japan, UK and the USA are the biggest markets. Some other European countries such as Germany, France, Spain etc. are also big for the gaming market. But the rest of the world, no. So I just can't see that more people play games than watch movies. Especially if we talk about console gaming alone. With PC gaming, well, then the gaming market grows a lot in my eyes, but still I can't see that more people would play games rather than watch movies.

And I could turn your argument, with PS3 owners using Netflix. Doesn't that prove that a lot of people watch movies, if Netflix(watching movies/series) is extremely poular on a gaming console.

But I must just get one thing clear, are you saying that more people play games than there are people watching movies? Or are you just saying that the gaming industry is making more money? If neither I am totally lost, haha. Sorry. :)

That's quite cheap but I think they are doing it because the experience might not that good as many think. People won't complain about such a small fee.

It also proves a lot of people play video games. Because guess what, its on a gaming device.

This is not a discussion anymore, and I think you're arguring just for the sake of it. I made a comparison about Netflix monthly price, (a movie streaming service) with what might be PlayStation Now yearly price, (A video game streaming service) How many people watching movies around the world is irrelevant. case closed.

Looks fake.

Also no chance in hell will it be 49.99 a year, more likely a quarter so 3 months. 50 a month no way price would scare away Consumers. While 50 a year seems way to cheap for potentially thousands of games anywhere on anything any time.

Is this a seperate pay wall from + or included?

I expect PS Now to be separate from PS+, as they clearly want to generate some additional income with the server farm they build/operate for the service.

$4 per month is way too cheap. (idioticly cheap)

$49.99 per month is too expensive.

So either Sony has lost its mind or its fake.

Or it's a 3 month fee.

Or its a promotional price for the first year.

Netflix is outragously cheap at £6 a month i expect that to go up when theyve roped enough people in.

Hmm that could be true.  On top it does say 'summer' which would imply a single season (so 3 months)

(Assuming that this image is real, I'm not entirely convinced.)
