Maybe, even if it does win December NPD it would only be to a supply constrained PS4 though. Don't get me wrong though Xbox One is still selling really well despite being $500. I mean over 3 million sold in 1 1/2 months?

Obviously yes, but still, these numbers are record breaking for ANY home console on its first US Christmas

I think than VGC are right,  supply constrained for PS4.

xbone by a few k is no win, its a massive loss this is its home market.
yet its struggling to barely out sale an out of stock item.

Err it's hard to tell considering they're both so close and within the margin of error. Wait for NPD before deciding a winner.

Indeed, according to VGChartz Xbox One ''won'' December in the U.S. VGChartz doesn't decide NPD's numbers, nor do they predict them.

Maybe,  maybe not but doesn't mean much ps4 is supply constrained x1 is not. in fact x1 should be selling a lot more imo, but it isn;t. Despite supply issue they are neck and neck.
