No cause it's the end of a generation, one by one all games will shut down and people will migrate to ps4 or other consoles. I'm a bit surprised at GT5 though.

Hence the reason why local server options are important for consumers, so no company can come along and say 'Yoink!'. Pity, too bad people didn't catch on to this one back when they started removing server options from games...right around when this gen of consoles launched. What a comfortable bed we've made for ourselves.

i am soo happy i NEVER play ANY game online.

That there is exactly the reason why i think an online gaming service is not worth it.

Of course, in the case of the PS3/PSP/PSVita, its fine cause its free, but when you are paying a montly and the servers get closed for your games, what are you paying for? That is why i will probably never pay for general online gaming on consoles. Even if they throw in some rental games, i just cant shake off the feeling that its all a trap.

Doesn't that mean they would have to pull all remaining copy's of GT5 off the shelves? It clearly says PSN play on the case everywhere, it would be false advertising if the keep selling it.

I will finally have to try X link kai for my PS3 and PSP, a bit of work for me, I hope to convince some friends.

Played 100s of hours of GT5, never touched online lol.
