I hate Sony's marketing staff. They've done a decent job with the PS4 thus far, but they completely dropped the ball with PS3. Games like Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Sly 4, Resistance 3, Puppeteer, and pretty much every Vita has release with little to no marketing.

Well, Youtube, porn, and sometimes livesteams work amazing on it, but you can't play flash games, or watch any video that requires Adobe Flash Player.

The fact that i need psn+ to play online...

Nintendo: hardware isn't strong enough.

Sony: PS+ for online play sucks, even though I already subscribed to it.

Microsoft: Kinect isn't valuable currently.

Nintendo: They are the best company in video games, and have been for the last 30 or so years. But their one biggest flaw, to me, is that they don't create enough new IPs. I will say that. When they DO create new IPs, such as Pikmin, or Wii Sports, they're almost always fun. But they could stand to make more internally.

On the other hand, I love most of the new Marios and Zeldas and Metroids that come out (except for fucking Other M), and I am fervently hoping for a new Wii U F-Zero, Wave Race, Star Fox, etc.

So.....yup.

They try too hard being as profitable as they can instead of applying to my needs specifically.

I'm going to say two because I have two that I really need to get off my chest (again)

1. Bad Sony marketing. Seriously Sony enough with the live action stuff. They've certainly improved since the crying baby days and maybe for the whole console a "Michael" ad wouldn't go amiss, but they need to show gameplay especially when advertising a specific game. I often think "if I didn't look around online I would have no idea what genre this game is or what the gameplay even looks like." That's not good Sony. The good trailers always seem to be on Youtube only like that one showing all the exclusives and listing all the exclusive content and perks of Plus.

2. They ware out franchises. Ratchet should have had 3 iterations this gen and then geared up for a couple years for a PS4 launch. Uncharted on PS4 should instead be a new IP. There didn't need to be 4 Twisted Metals on PS1. How does Nintendo ensure long-term sales for their franchises? It's the only Zelda/3d Mario/DKC on the system! That's why they keep them premium priced. There's never an "old" Smash. Granted Sony's games are more linear which detracts from the replay value for some, but surely a bi-annual approach at least couldn't hurt. Why did Ratchet FFA and A4O happen? They need to start thinking long term. GT6 is the most recent example of a game that should have been delayed a year, giving the PS4 about a 10m install base by the time it released, and given the system a huge system seller in holiday 2014. They just make illogical decisions that devastate the long-term viability of their franchises fairly often.

MS, stop trying to take my money and always be greedy. If MS was the only console maker then they would charge for every single thing they could. That company makes money cause they truly are quite evil but I suppose they do know how to run a business.

I'm a huge fan of all 3 systems so I'll go with a bad thing about each

Nintendo - Utterly flopping around like a fish that's been outta water now for almost 6 years when it comes to an online service to rival psn or Xbla

Sony - Allowed San Andreas to go to IoS just this week rather than doing anything and I mean ANYTHING to get rock star port that to the Vita or make a San Andreas Stories like the 2 GTAs on the psp which showed just what that system was capable of

Microsoft - If microsoft were selling icecreams from a van and you wanted one, you'd need to buy the van and buy a license to drive it for 12 months just to have your icecream....

Every pc game ever - That communities... be it in LoL, WoW, Dota anything... absolutely anything the communities of so many online games are completely caustic.

The price of Vita memory cards are ridiculous! I would have also mentioned terrible advertising but Sony seem to have improved a lot in the last few months. Going further back, Sony should never have said 'next generation doesn't start until we say it does'. That came across as arrogant.
