Nintendo:

They're idiots. I used to think it was bad marketing, or bad luck, or a few bad decisions, but I've come to the conclusion that they're just stupid. They have skill, and they have the ability to make great games despite their idiocy, but overall they just don't know anything. They're flying by the seat of their pants, guessing what they think we want. And they're too stubborn to do otherwise or actually listen to us. So they're stupid and stubborn.

Sony/PS4 - Pretty shitty launch lineup on the PS4...and really not much that interests me till later into next year

MS/XB1 - Fuck Kinect and the XB1 being $100 more than PS4 because of it...should be a $399 version of the XB1 without Kinect to compete with PS4.

Nintendo/Wii U - Failed to raise the bar...all I see is a Wii with updated graphics and tablet controllers. 4.5 million sales in a year is the result of failure to innovate or differentiate the Wii U from the Wii.

I suppose Nintendo would be my favorite all things considered... so I will say that they have bad online and need to catch up. They definitely need to get more VC games out there with a lower price tag and finally unify the account system. Speed things up, essentially.

That reminded me how awesome Wii U's browser is. In fact, I'm using it right now! Sadly, It's been the only thing I use it for since eary this year up until I got 3D World.


Ok I haven't used the Wii U's so I just want to clear some things up:

1) The PS4's web browser is seriously about as fast as my gaming PC's web browser.  It is actually rated as 5 times faster than the Xbox Ones.

2) The problem is it doesn't play any and every video player or play flash games.  

 

So tell me is the Wii U any different?

Well, Youtube, porn, and sometimes livesteams work amazing on it, but you can't play flash games, or watch any video that requires Adobe Flash Player.


Is it as snappy as a PC though?  It sounds kinda like it has more acceptable format support, but still nowhere near the speed of a power PC.  FYI I did get PS3 to play "Storm the House"...

Absolutely terrible marketing for the PS3 and an arrogance that was just unsavory. I hope they continue their humble attitude into this generation because that has really been what saved their PS3.
