Nintendo's VC expands third party offerings in Japan's 3DS and WiiU eShops.

On the 25th December, PC Genjin (600 Yen) and Parodius (800 Yen) will release on the WiiU VC, originally released on the PC Engine and MSX respectively. The 3DS VC gets The Kung Fu (600 Yen) and Gradius (600 Yen), both are PC Engine titles.

So far it's only Japan, but Nintendo is slowly updating their VC. Can't wait for VC to gain support for MegaDrive, Dreamcast and GameCube.

Well.. on the 3DS VC, there are GameGear games and now they´re adding Megadrive and Sega Arcade games on the "3D Sega classics" series.

The thread was mainly intended for the WiiU, but you are right, the 3DS already supports Sega titles.

Wait, what? Wasn't Wii's Virtual Console doing Genesis games since forever ago? I wonder what took so long on the others.

Don't hold your breath for DC/GC games. That, I judge, is a generation too new for the VC model. But it would be pretty sweet.

I dont think They'll ever put GC games on it. I think they'll make HD re-releases of some of them if a studio has no games in development.

The biggest problem with Wii VC was that there were too many consoles supported and too few releases each week. I fear the games i want will be far apart now
