Forums - General Discussion - [Anime] whats your top 10 series right now

Surprisingly hard to come up with a top 10, if only because I've seen a lot of bad/mediocre series, and most that I have seen are with friends who primarily like to watch a single genre. So...

10. Fullmetal Alchemist
9. Gundam Seed
8. Trigun
7. Dragonball
6. Outlaw Star
5. Rurouni Kenshin
4. Gankutsuou
3. Yu Yu Hakusho
2. Cowboy Bebop
1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

Gintama > All

I'd likely put Gintama, Fate/Zero, Steins;Gate, Mirai Nikki, FMA Brotherhood, Kaiji, One Outs, maybe Death Note, One Piece, HunterxHunter, and Reborn (though it eventually degraded in quality IMO. The censoring got to me eventually.), edit: would probably add Rurouni Kenshin as well in my top 10. I don't have a clear top 10 nor a list in any particular order.

You need Gurren Lagann in your life. :P It'll easily make your top 10 if you stick with it all the way through.

I've heard Mirai Nikki is a decent to good show, but didn't know it could be top 10 material. I should watch it. Death Note is always debated on, but in the end I felt the good outweighed the bad. When a show makes me question my morals, then I know it's good. Sure the second half wasn't as good as the first, but it was still intense throughout. Felt the conclusion could have been more but it was a satisfying end. Also, I saw One Outs, pretty funny show. xD More people should watch it. That hilarious engrish hahah. What is Kaiji about? Never heard of it.

Haven't watched enough yet to make a top ten. Still getting through all the suggestions on my thread I made a few months back.

Cowboy Bebop
Death Note
Inuyasha
Bleach
DBZ

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

I've been watching all manner of anime for over 25 years. I honestly don't have a favorite. I pretty much like them all.

Ty guys for the immediate responses (Basil - Pezus) I'm gonna check them!

In no particular order:

- Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu - Heldensagen vom Kosmosinsel (Legend of Galactic Heroes)
- Cross Game
- Nodamé Cantabilé
- Seikai no Danshô/Monshô/Senki ( Birth/Crest/Banner of the Stars)
- FLAG
- Hunter x Hunter (up until Greed Island finale, the arcs after that are still great, but don't deserve a top10 spot)
- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When the Cicadas cry)
- Planetes
- Death Note
- Azumanga Daioh

Haha, I have the same problem, I like waaay too many anime, but I don't have time to watch all that look interesting.

1. Tenchi
2. Neon Genesis
3. Astro Boy
4. Thunder Cats

And that's like all I have seen.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

My man

Its sad no one gives it a chance because it is long, starts very slow, has literally hundreds of characters to introduce.
