I was going to point out this. In Latin America we usually says 'El' when talking about consoles but in Spain most people uses 'La'

Some people here also uses 'La' but is not very common. And for some odd reason I see it more often on the xbox ('La xbox')

 

 

And the Wii U is an 8th gen console. Anybody that says otherwise is most likely a Nintendo hater.

The Wii U is 8th Gen regardless of it's spec. I thought this was established -_-

8th gen, but it doesn't feel like it at times. It feels 7.5.

Xbone and PS4: One Screen

Wii U is far beyond eighth gen that it has transcended generations.

None of the next gen consoles are next gen to me.

PS4 and Xbone are bringing now what was available on PC in 2010. So next gen for whoever has been living under a rock, yes.

And Wii U, if it had the same classical PSone like gamepad design I would consider it also a 7th gen console. But since it has got wiimotes and tabletesque controllers, I put into the "hipster gen" category.
