"The survey was based on 3,000 people at Walmart and Target"

If the few places they visited got far more One supply than PS4 it could easily be skewed. You can't extrapolate to a win for somehow ALL of Black Friday. And in any case with both sold out, sales figures are no indication of demand either way.

edit: based on only 12 One purchases. No way this is statistically significant.

It's safe to say Microsoft outship sony in black Friday in order to achieve massive European launch.

It was posted yesterday...

"The survey was based on about 83,000 shopping receipts from about 3,000 people on Black Friday"

The Xbone for example sold 12 units... now you can make the maths to find the others numbers.

Huh. I sure didn't think the One would be that high, neither did I think the PS4 would be. The PS4 has supply issues and BF is after all the day you buy things for cheap. Neither of them had offers (as far as I know). I can't understand how ONE sold more than 360. Maybe that's just me though.

Also, Wii seems very, VERY low for BF. And no 3ds and vita makes it hard to judge.

Edit: So it was a survey. I'll be taking my hat and leave then.

Not just that... 3000 guys is from everything (most bought iPhone or iPad)... from 3000 only 12 bought Xbone.

Wow that's terrible.

How can they seriously produce those graphs as fact? It's just statistical noise.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

this report confuses me..

"The survey was based on about 83,000 shopping receipts from about 3,000 people"

so each person went thru the till an average of 27 times?
