Sorry man, I can't really answer that, I never played 3D Land.

I can answer. Its totally different. This game feels for me like a strange mix of Mario64 and 2dMarios. Now its a favorite game of my daughter, I've never saw her so much involved in a game before.
And the best multiplayer Mario for me. For single player - I can't say much - only finished 1st world, but saw my daughter now in 7th, playing all the weekend )

The soundtrack is just incredible in this game, every song has the potential to get stuck in my head, I mean one of my favorite songs is the one that plays after you beat the boss but before you complete the level.

also, Luigi is the best, didn't think that would be the case. Peach is just too slow.

I had it in one hand and Link Between Worlds in the other at Walmart today. Was bobbing them up and down and doing the "eeeeeeeehhhhh" thing for about ten minutes before going with the one that was $20 cheaper.

Can't wait to get this, too, though.

This post reminds me of World 4-3: Beep Block Skyway.
I find this level to be one of my favourite in the game. It's just pure awesome fun. xD

Why does the extra life count have to be three digits? You don't even get an extra life from getting to the top of the flagpole.

And why does the game have to tell me how many lives I lost? That's the sort of statistic where anything less than perfect annoys me. Plus that damn piece of trash that the Wii U is doesn't even have a soft reset to make a potential 0 lost lives file attempt bearable.


For people that suck like me obviously.

When I picked up Rayman Legends, I played it with a friend and two of my nieces.

We tought: "This is awesome" Surely this will be the best platformer this year. So many clever ideas. I think Nintendo won´t be able to make better than this.

Then a few weeks later I took my copy of Super Mario 3D Land and we started playing......
last Monday night, I missed a rehersal and all my training sessions last week, so I could get at home as soon as possible after work and play with them. They called me every day to ask when I was getting at home to play together.

Man, I say thas it´s a brilliant platformer. This game screams creativity in every level. The final confrontation with Bowser was epic.

Nintendo teams always deliver. We should never doubt their talent.

I've picked up a Wii U at the weekend thanks to a Black Friday deal online, looking forward to getting this at Christmas.
