Not true, no one I know was able to find a PS4 because of the hard-launch in EU terrioties. Meaning that majority of units shipped go to that region, and we (NA) only get a small fraction of the units they move out (guessing another 100K just like this week).

Not at all. Why would they hold stock?  whats the point?  I see no advantage... none. 

They actually do hold stock, as their strategic placing of released units is determined prior to launch. They need an even flow of consoles to come out each week during the holidays, and they get this from "overstock" at their warehouse from pre-NA launch units manufactured in October most likely. They need to do these types of things because they only product 1 million (emtimate) PS4's per month, giving only 250K world-wide each week. Split between regions NA would get like 100K only per week, and this is where the backlog comes in to boost it to maybe 150K. Their backlog isn't huge, don't get it twisted. Just to hold a boost till after to Holidays (end mid-January).

Cool story about Sony's day one digital but what does that have to do with more Xbox One owners going digital because of the ability to switch between games via voice on the One?  As far as proof, what do want me to prove? Is it too much of a stretch to imagine that more people would choose to utilize the ability to switch between games just by telling their Xbox to do so? Or that more people will choose this route in the future? If you think that that's not happening then I don't know what to tell you.

Now, do you have any answers to my questions regarding the tracking of digital sales? 

What is the point of having 2 games running the same time? Cant play2 at the same time..... Sorry point still stands. No one is buying more digital for this reason nor is there any proof of this.

so now with the "reports" coming in from BF that Sony didn't get a lot of shipped units to the US and the Xbone was able to ship more out for BF and completely sell out, does the XBone take over US sales after only two weeks?
