I probably would buy a Wii U because of X

Multiplats and horsepower aren't what's going to sell the WiiU. First party games and the occasional 3rd party exclusives/collaborations (such as Sonic: LW, M & S: ATOG, B2, SMT x FE, lego City Undercover) plus advertising is what the Wii U needs.
And what do you mean "this time" Wii U can't generate visuals compared to Ps4/Xbone? Wii could when compared to PS360?
When it comes to the power gap Wii U is in a WAY better position compared to it's competition than Wii ever was.

I think the audience for third party multiplats is pretty much all but gone from Nintendo after years of being non-factor in that area. People who want the big multi-plat third party games are virtually Sony/MS only these days.
See: the PS4 version of CoD: Ghosts outselling the Wii U version in the UK charts even though the PS4 isn't even out yet, lol. Wii U is basically a non-factor.
Nintendo's challenge this gen is really going to boil down to how many of the casuals they grabbed with the original Wii they can convince to come back and pay $200+ for a Wii U in the post iPhone world.
Unless software sales pick up - I doubt Nintendo can turn a profit on the Wii U. They had to bundle one of the heavy hitters and sell at a giant loss just to stay competitive. Also Bayonetta 2 and Shing Megami Tensei are not system sellers - they aren't going to make people run out to buy the console. Matter of fact, they will probably tank

Third Parties If Nintendo discountinued the Wii U, third parties would be PISSED. Third Parties already have games in development for 2014 such as Watch Dogs and the Amazing Spiderman 2. These companies are putting time and effort to developing for the Wii U |
No, just No. They make gimped versions for WiiU that make up for 1 or 2% of the total sales. Watchdogs will be no different (and watchdogs can release even if Nintendo discontinues the WiiU). Third parties couldn't care less about WiiU being on the market or not.

Careful; people also said nobody would buy a Wii U for Pikmin 3 or Wind Waker.

That can be said about any next-gen JRPG since we don't know the first thing about X
Seeing that list of games for 2014 just renewed my interest in the system. I've been focusing on Smash Bros. so much that I forgot it has other interesting games for the year as well. I want ALL in that list.
Playstation = The Beast from the East
Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS
