To summarize, the author writes that by bashing XB1, Sony is showing their arrogant side, and while arrogance has little impact on the consumers at large, it could potentially represent poor business decisions. If Sony fans are arrogant they have good reason, they dominated with PSONE, PS2 and it looks like cluster fuck that was the first year of PS3 will not prevent them from winning another generation. Sony fans get an absolute ton of great exclusive games, all while Sony continues to offer great value in their products, free Blu-ray in PS3, PS+ and the awesome PS Vita.

Does Sony cater to arrogant fans? No, they cater to their fans period. Do Sony fans love to rub that treatment in making them look arrogant? Of course.
